Suggested Computers for Students
Students are not required, but are recommended, to bring a computer with them to UCCS.
Students should be aware of the software needed to complete their degree programs. Some software only runs on Windows machines and a MacBook may not be the best solution for your degree. Please work with your college's Academic Advisor to determine what software you will need in pursuit of your degree.
We highly recommend purchasing a device that meets the minimum system requirements for the software that requires the most resources.
A few vendors offer student discounts on computers.
UCCS has numerous open computer labs to support studying, homework, and research needs.
