Exception Accounts

Exception Accounts

UCCS Exception Accounts allow Faculty, Staff, and Student Employee members of the campus access to the UCCS Email (Office 365 Server) using this Exception Account. Most Exception Accounts that are created are for departments or clubs.

  • Exception account credentials (consists of exception account's username and password) may be used to access the following online tools/ features:

  • Faculty and Staff.

  • Please login (using your UCCS Account) the following link: Cherwell Self-Service, and click on 'Account Request (Exception Account)'.

  • Please look to the Documentation Section.

  • The Exception Account request will be sent to the OIT Service Desk and reviewed. Please allow up to 3 business days for this process.

  • Posted OIT Service Desk hours

  • The Exception Account will be set to expire once a year. The owner of the account will be notified via their UCCS Email and with instructions on how to renew the Exception Account before it expires and is closed. For further assistance please contact the OIT Service Desk.
