Provides a Wi-Fi connection everywhere on campus. In order to gain full access this network a UCCS Account is required. For guests, please contact the IT Help Desk.

  • How Do I Change Or Stop This Service?

    End the Wi-Fi connection on your device's Wi-Fi settings.

    In order to have Full Access on the UCCS-Wireless network an install of a small, extremely lightweight client known as Safeconnect is required. SafeConnect itself does not enforce any policies on your device, but rather checks to make sure that your Operating System is up-to-date, and that you have some form of anti-virus and anti-spyware program installed. The process of downloading and installing the program typically takes under a minute. Once SafeConnect is installed, you will either be granted Full Access or will be directed to instructions explaining how to update your computer to be in full compliance.
