How to Access UCCS Online Systems During Global Security Threat

Over the last two weeks, UCCS OIT, in collaboration with IT personnel from CU System and other campuses, have been working diligently to investigate and safeguard our data from the global security threat: Log4j Vulnerability. At this time, UCCS does not believe that any of our data has been comprised and will continue to actively monitor our data.

In an abundance of caution, we have temporarily restricted access to our several online systems to keep our data, and you, safe, and have asked individuals to connect to and use the virtual private network (VPN) or Virtual Desktops (https://virtuallabs.uccs.edu). We do realize that this extra step in safety is an inconvenience to our students, faculty, staff and prospective students, especially during a critical time in the academic year. We also realize that accessing the VPN can be time-consuming and cumbersome – we apologize.

If you have any questions, please contact the OIT Service Desk.
