Executive Director of Innovation and Computing Services Announces Retirement

With almost 35 years at CU, Kirk Moore will retire on January 25, 2019

The Executive Director of Innovation and Computing Services, Kirk Moore, announced his retirement last week. Kirk has contributed over 34 years to CU. He started his career as a student programmer in Public Safety and worked his way up the ladder to end his career as Executive Director of Innovation and Computing Services, in which he has served in this capacity since 2016. Kirk's career highlights include the Parking and Ticketing Programs, SEAN’s Place, Online Phone directory, and Lion One Card, just to name a few.  Kirk treasures many memories from UCCS, including meeting his wife of 16 years, Tamara. In his free time, Kirk DJ's, plays on the NORAD hockey league and is known to some as the stellar drum player from the local  (1988-1998) band The Auto-No.

OIT will be hosting a farewell for Kirk in early January. Additional information about his retirement celebration will be supplied at a later date.
