Alert: Microsoft Teams Conference Calling Available. In an effort to support synchronous remote classroom sessions and to facilitate group communications with external entities, OIT has enabled phone conferencing capabilities with Microsoft Teams. This service will be available through the Summer semester. You should have received a message from Microsoft that included your conference phone number and PIN, do not delete this email. If you schedule a meeting, the phone number will be automatically added to the meeting. You will not see this number, but your participants will receive this in their meeting invite. If you select “Meet Now” within a Microsoft Teams Team channel, the conference line will also open. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
The Application Development and Support (ADS) team has created an Application Review Board. The intent of this committee is to serve our campus by helping departments identify needs or develop software solutions. The committee will review requests made from those who are acting on behalf of a department or college, not individual requests. Requestors can send an email to email@example.com with the following questions answered:
What is the problem you are trying to solve?
Do you already have a solution in mind? If so, what is it?
Who is the main contact?
Who is the technical contact?
When would you like to deploy this new software?
Once received, the committee will review the request and move forward as appropriate.
